...but i'll tell you what, I'm feeling refreshed. 12 days in Aruba, and an unscheduled overnight stay in Charlotte, is just what i needed.
The sun, the warm ocean, the laid back resort, the numerous steak dinners, the beer, rum and cigars, and of course, the little lady.
You dummies out there that never go anywhere, and never take vacations...step your game up. Drink one less latte a day, smoke less, do something to save some loot and get away. Lifes too short.
...anyway, on with a few pics...
The historic windmill in front of our resort, The Mill.

These little bastards are everywhere in Aruba.

$1 drinks from 5-6pm = Me drinking 9 rum and cokes in an hour.

The lady prefers her wine..

I love this guy. Benjamin Petrochi, the end-all, be-all of ARUHIBA cigars. He does it all from growing the tobacco in his back yard, to rolling the final product, to running and selling them in his store. (the only Aruban cigar company ever)

...i enjoyed a lot of Bennys handywork (as well as the requisite cubans [you get a chance to try the new cuban Cohiba maduro no. 5, do it, ignore the $35 pricetag]) while i lounged around. Had to bring a bunch home too, for the ol' humidor.

...bottom line is, Fuck mexico. Aruba > you.
Go see for yourself.
ps - I spent a lot of time on planes, so I got some concepts for some new paintings before the year is over, so keep a lookout.
