...im drawing a buffalo. Its for a friend of mine who is starting a pretty serious round of radiation therapy in a few days. He's part Black-foot indian and his house is decorated with kind of a western/country style, so i figured this would fit. Hes asked me to paint him something in the past and ive just never gotten around to it. So im doing this, and putting it in a care package im gonna drop off for his next two weeks of what amounts to solitary confinement, in his own house. (he'll literally be emitting high levels of radiation from his body and cant be around other people for two weeks) My lovely lady is gonna bake him some cookies and ill probably loan him a bunch of DVDs, to kill all that time.
Anyway, this is the begining stage, ill post pics when its done.

Wish your dude my best, I honestly believe there is something to "good vibe" treatment. I have never been a religious person, but I did survive cancer and in part I do believe I made it because of the collective prayers of others. Everyone at Walla Walla State Prison chapel was pulling for me (Thanks Brady), my huge family too. Strangers who heard my story said their prayers and I do believe that it helps. I'd explain how one can be a non religious type and believe that another time. For now, just wish him mybbest, and I hope he gets well soon.
Jake
Looking good, obviously we'll need a finished pic. Best wishes to your friend.
and damn BFO didn't know you survived cancer, props on that my man.
Fame's cancer wasn't such a big deal. He told me back then he was just doing it to get at his parents cause they wouldn't buy him an NES.
The main things that kind of made me look on the bright side were two things that jake said in a private convo we were having.
One was that cancer is no longer the death sentence it used to be.
And the other was that there was no better place in the country to have cancer. As far as cancer treatment. goes, the northwest is top notch.
(and of course ill post pics when the drawing is done. Gimme a day or two.)
best of luck to your dude...
...where the buffalo roam.
