...while we here at The Warfare certainly appreciate you stopping by, and of course I am always appreciative of those who leave comments on the blog I thought I would take a second to correct you.
First, I like that you are such a bitch as to feel the need to leave an anonymous comment, YET be willing to call people you don't even know names. I promise you tough guy that stuff stays on the Internet, because I don't take at all kindly to punks who play tough and come out of pocket in real life. In the real world, where we have to back up our statements this shit doesn't go so smoothly, and bitches like yourself are less likely to feel so bold.
That said, and since I did mention "backing up" our statements, I am going to link you to two past posts about this poster specifically.

Do please note both credit given, and Frank's name on it.
I want to think that you are intelligent enough (although lets face it I have my doubts) to understand that the belief that it is a "pathetic attempt" is purely opinion, and we all get one. You think it is a rip off, I know Chris did it as a nod. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Now crawl back into your cardboard box and hit that Thunderbird and Kool-Aid and see if you can't get your shit together.
EDIT: To those of you (Nick) that dont know what this post is about. Peep the comments from the post below. There was an "idiot" who felt the need to jump to conclusions about my intent on the poster by Frank Chimero. THIS post, is Jake addressing that person.

I'm confused.
Peep the comments of the post below this one.
This is why we love you fame
Seems as though "Anonymous" has no retort.
Hey Chris, I think I found anonymous, she even linked to your site on hers. it says shes in graphic design school, so my guess is she was in an art history class and just learned about Frank Chimero and wanted to show off that she knew a little something.
Just so you know, I am not "Anonymous". I still think your poster was a bit of a ripoff, and it looks like somebody else feels the same way I do.
I would never call you an "idiot". It's unfortunate that this "anonymous" chose to leave such an immature comment, and I would rather not be associated with such a person.
I don't leave anonymous posts on other people's blogs. Instead I write my opinion on my own blog, which you seem to have figured out.
Take care.
Allison
Fair enough Allison, and ill take your word for it that you arent Anonymous.
However, if you actually read the post where i explained the poster i designed, based on Frank's work, i have NO idea how you can call it a ripoff. I mean, i posted his original poster, i said i loved the quote, but didnt like the style of the poster, so i created my own take on it, which suits my personal style. Not only that, i put his name on the bottom of the poster itself, to give him credit. Mr Chimero himself didnt even put his name on his original.
Perhaps you should look up the definition of the word RIPOFF.
Homage would be a much more appropriate word.
Whether you like my version or not, is certainly your perogative, but to call it a ripoff is clearly ignorant.
Thank you for believing me.
I suppose I agree with most of what you're saying. I will attempt to think of this poster the same way I would think of a cover song.
If you would like me to remove the word "ripoff" from my blog post I will do so. Just say the words.
Allison
Ill leave that up to you. Its really no skin off my teeth, either way.
If you still truly believe its a ripoff, there isnt much else to say. However, if you do indeed agree with me, i dont see how you could still hold that stance.
Fixed. Apologies. I will try thinking before I blog from now on.
Allison
glad this is all settled .. but to be honest i dont see how its a ripoff if it credits the original right on the poster.. anyways.. im glad this post came up because i forgot about wanting to post that poster on my blog .. haha
Through all of this hilarity, it seems I've made you guys blog more, drove a little traffic, and who knows maybe got you a little more design work.
I'd say it was a success.
Totally. There has not been a down side at all, this blog is for us to have some fun. As long as it is fun we are winning, and I for one am still having fun.
Thanks Adam.
