Complex.com did a story on Kanye West's signature nikes that are coming out in a few months. There was a pretty large photo gallery with pics of the shoes and some of the process as well. The sketches caught my interest (there was a time when i thought about getting into footwear design, but i realized i didnt want to get involved in industrial design etc. I just wanted to draw shoes. I think i was 13), so i thought id pass some of the pics along. If youre more interested, go to
complex.com and check out the whole feature.
(Click the pics, they get bigger.)

The fucks wrong with industrial design? (only joking) I got into it because of shoes, but shortly after I realized that I wasn't good enough at sketching and that shoes would get really boring real fast. I think I haven't drawn a shoe in about 2 years now.
I get more excited about seeing shoes in this stage, than I do seeing them in their finished stage sometimes.
I agree 1000%.
I love the initial sketches, and then watching the evolution.
