It sets in, and you start to come to grips with it, but it doesnt get any easier.

    I keep seeing crazy shut on the road that he would really get a kick out of, and I think about buying it, or taking a picture and MMS'ing him, or just calling and telling him the story. Then I remember. This bs fucking sucks.

    I had told one of my good friends that I'd sit her down and tell her some of our tales once I was ready. We were at the beach last week and it was raining and we were playing games at the house we had rented and stories just kept pouring out. I was laughing so hard that I was crying, half because of how funny Jake was and half because I miss him so much.

    Joe, i know exactly what youre talking about. Ive gone through the same thing on numerous occasions already. Its a shitty reminder.

    Nick, i feel you man. You cant really tell one jake story and stop at that. They always parlay into at least 3 more.

    I never checked this place out when Jake was around - I guess it was just one of the thousand things that he was involved in. The dude was interested in so much and had so many fuckin people you just couldn't keep track of it all. Now I read up here almost everyday. My mind wants to find a way to re-connect with him and it can't stand knowing I can't just dial him up.

    Just made a call to my partner Joe and passed over Jake's # still in my phone. He's the first in my "J's". I can't delete it.

    Thanks for posting the pics. I lost some good ones on an old laptop and it's cool keep seein his face.

    I feel you 3rik. I can pretty much guarantee ill never delete his number.

    Hell, when i get a new phone i might even re-enter it.
