So i came home from work today to find this package waiting for me. My man Casey M., loyal blog reader and true TWC supporter took it upon himself to send me this delightful care package.

What this? Old t-shirts?

Bubble wrap?

Nope, 3 22oz bottles of genuine east coast IPA. Just my flavor. So of course i threw em in the fridge, asap.

This first one, by Cisco Brewing of Nantucket was the foamiest beer ive ever poured. Now at first i thought maybe it was still a bit shook up from the trip to the NW. But when i refilled my glass it was as foamy as ever. I feel sorry for any bartender that has to pour this shit on the daily. But regardless of all that, it was damn good beer and reminded me of a pacific northwest IPA that im used to.

After i finished the whole 22oz, i STILL had this much foam left in the glass, go figure.

The second one i tried was this Harpoon IPA. It was pretty light in color and in taste. It still tasted good but it wouldnt strike me as an IPA if i didnt already know it was labeled as such. The flavor was good and the body of it would be ideal for a long night of drinking.

The third and last bottle was this Long Trail brewmasters series Double IPA. Its 8.6% alc but i honestly didnt even notice cause i had a slight buzz from the other 44oz if IPA. The color on this beer was great and reminded me of a typical NW IPA. The flavor was slightly less hoppy than the Cisco Indie Pale Ale but was deep and thorough all the way through. Heavy aftertaste with a relatively smooth finish. I think this was my favorite of the bunch, but i got a feeling 3 of these will have you feelin pretty solid.

Overall, they were all good beers. Different in their own right, but solid brews nonetheless. I cant thank Casey enough. (you got a package comin back your way before you know it my man) Stay posted by that mailbox.

I gotta say, sometimes its great having a blog.

Cheers.

Pumped they made it in one piece and you were able to taste some East Coast brew. Like I emaled, the Harpoon is my favorite and like you are absolutely correct, it is built for a long night of boozing. Always happy to share the wealth with a fellow beer enthusiast and this certainly wont be the last beer care package that makes it your way.

Guess that whole drying out thing didnt last too long. Probably had a nice buzz going after consuming 66 Oz.

    Cheers.
