Ive never seen water flowing UPward...

James Dyson's "Wrong Garden" sculpture.

Scroll down to see how its done...

Visitors to this year’s Chelsea Garden Show were left scratching their heads by an unusual fountain created by none other than inventor James Dyson. Inspired by the works of MC Escher, the water in the fountain appears to flow uphill, cascading over the top of a series of four ramps. Wrong Garden, as it’s called, actually took about 12 months to design and build, and the secret to how the illusion is accomplished is spoiled revealed in the above illustration from BBC News. Basically the laws of physics are left in tact, but compressed air is used to create bubbles that provide visual clues that the water is flowing uphill, when in fact it’s not.

If youve already sent payment, youre good. They'll be mailed out tomorrow.

If you missed out, dont worry. Im almost positive ill be having some more made, including at least 1 female sized one for my lady. So if youre a female reader out there (im assuming its only Carra) let me know and ill take care of you on the next order.

Ive really been slackin on this other memorial project ive gotten halfway done, but i did manage to get these made.

They came out incredible, if you ask me. Supplies are limited, as i only had a small run made, due to my apprehensions on how they would handle the logo. So if the demand is crazy, more will be made. For now id guess maybe 20 are available here on the blog, once ive gotten these in the hands of his people (Jeff, Dallas, Ant etc. Btw, ive lost some numbers in a phone switch, so ima need you guys to contact me, cause i cant get at some of you directly)

If you'd like one paypal $3 to oo206oo@gmail.com (shipping plus the original cost of a little over $2 each to have em made)

EDIT: More pics...

No fish is safe...

I went fishing with my buddy Danny on Wednesday. I had to get up at 3am and drive for 2.5 hours to the coast at Westport. It was worth it though, as my man Danny is an awesome fisherman. Seriously, he could probably retire and be a guide and run charters etc (except then he'd have to deal with amatuers like me all day every day)

Anyway, on with the pics.

That's me with Danny. (He's the one with the awesome handlebar mustache)

This was the first "keeper" of the 7 or 8 salmon (silver) that i reeled in. The first 3 i caught werent clipped and therefore had to be relased.

The guy on the right in this pic is Danny's homeroom school teacher from when he was a kid. They still keep in touch and go fishing pretty often. This dude has been fishing for 65 years...and he still puked his guts out twice that day. (from sea sickness, for you slow folks) For the record, i was drinking Jameson and Long Hammer IPA all day and didnt puke, im taking that as a sign that i need to be out on the ocean more. In the old guy's defense, we were on a 28ft fishing boat 15 miles out in the Pacific, needless to say it wasnt a smooth ride.

This is how we celebrated reeling one in.

These were the ones we kept. Theres a 2 fish limit per person, per day. So since there was 3 of us, we could have technically kept 6. But we kept on catching wild ones we had to let go.

Being that im not man enough to know how to clean and filet fish, Danny took care of all 5 of em right there on the dock, next to the boat. Im not kidding when i say he literally handled all 5 salmon in 10-15 minutes. It was pretty obvious the man has done it more than a couple of times.

So anyway, this was easily one of the most fun times ive had in quite a while. I dont get out and try new things often enough these days, so this was a much appreciated adventure with my boy Danny.

ps - This is a little video i took of Danny showing off his big catch (sarcasm). For some reason i always find it hilarious when people pose for a pic and dont realize youre taking a video. Makes me laugh every time.

But i just bought these Supra Vaider Lows the other day. Clean classic silhouette with perforated leather = cant pass em up. And for $50 shipped, it was a no-brainer.

This fall im wearing these with a white tee and some black 501s every day. Im too old to try to be fashionable every day. Im finding a simple look that works for me, and riding it til the wheels fall off.

Screw it.

Ok, this is getting out of hand...
