So my beautiful lady and i went to the horse track this Sunday. I was able to get us tickets to the Widmer Club again, which is basically the VIP tables up on the 5th floor of the building. You get free admission and free valet parking. All the food and alcohol is free, as well as a TV at your table and a betting kiosk 10ft away. Plus theres a full wait staff that brings you all your beers etc. Pretty much the best way to enjoy the races.

My first beer of the day, as well as an Ad i designed (for my buddy's pub) that is in the racing program every day.

Even with the awesome table, we always go down to track level for a while. Mostly so she can watch the horses up close, and so i can smoke a cigar. (and enjoy the sunshine, if its out)

So overall i think i came out a few bucks ahead after a full day of betting, and after tipping our waiter the whole day at the track only cost me $20. Cant beat that.

Oh, and this dude was hilarious. He was wearing his sunglasses inside all day long, and he was wearing linen pants when the weather was only in the 70s. But the best part about him is the wet spot on his ass. I couldnt stop laughing every time he came over to use the betting kiosk. This dude either sharted on himself, or has a really sweaty butthole. When my lady makes cookies, my lady MAKES COOKIES. I think she made like 10 dozen, this was just a portion of them cooling down.

Dont mind the ugly ones at the bottom of the pic, something went terribly wrong with that batch. I have no idea.

Sorry for the absence, i was in Florida for a week, then Vegas for a week, then at the annual cabin trip.

I painted this Tuesday night, for my lady. We're both fans of Parks & Recreation. So she loved it.

I used acrylic paint (but used it like watercolor), and a Sharpie paint pen.
