I've been assured this white logo version will drop this week. My guess is it'll be Sunday. Stay tuned.

So my buddy is having a mashed potato eating contest at his pub, during halftime of the Super Bowl. So i made a flyer for him.

We came up with a mascot idea and i ran with it.

Here are the original sketches of Oliver. I basically fleshed out the Oliver Fitch logo and turned him into a drunk, football carrying potato.

Heres the final flyer. I went with a sort of vintage, fight poster look.

Im not completely happy with the mascot, but it was a rush job and i had to get it done so it could hang up for at least a week before the game.

I really like how the overall layout of the flyer looks though. I went with some rounded, bubbly typefaces that i usually avoid, to break out of my comfort zone. I like how it turned out though and its still definitely my style of typography.

My Kraken design won again in the last Clink Room contest.

This will make me 3 for 3 in the contests that ive entered over there. No idea when these hats will be available, it definitely isnt a quick process and i know the guys at the Clink Room have a lot of hats back-logged that have yet to be produced. So we'll just have to wait and see.

Ive been listening to Yelawolf's Radioactive pretty much since it came out. A week or two ago, this video dropped for his single with Kid Rock.

I like it.

It's not often I come across a pair of tennis shoes (as in, made for tennis. Not like how my mom calls all athletic shoes "tennis shoes".) that actually look nice. I can easily see wearing these Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour with some shorts in the summer time. If they come out with some different colorways that fit my tastes a little more, id consider picking these up. Hopefully on discount though, im not trying to drop the $130 retail on these.
